The Project

A 25 km long series of bridges and causeways connecting Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and Al Jasra, Bahrain. With its five bridges resting on 536 concrete pylons and seven embankments in the Gulf’s Water. One of the embankments, known as Middle Island has been converted into a sizeable artificial island with customs and immigration facilities, along with other amenities for land travellers .

The client requirements

The provision of Managing Agent services to manage and supervise all related and contracted FM operational service providers to KFCA premises & properties including all bridges. This will include the management, reporting and monitoring of the performance of all FM services, as per the described scope below.

Our Solution

Olive Arabia provided on-site team consisting of facility managers, engineers and administrative staff to undertake the management of all FM services provision as well as the preparation of various O&M policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the relevant laws and regulations, and FM processes are consistent resulting in the improvement of the quality of service, and to streamlining operations to improve efficiency.

Our solution was designed to bring best practice in facilities management and much broader strategy to modernise service delivery. The following were the key themes of our solution:
