The provision of hard services to Abdul Latif Jameel Motors 46 Showrooms, Services Centres, Distribution Depots Kingdom-wide as well as the various offices in Jeddah & Riyadh. The scope of services included

The client requirements

The Client decided to outsource the delivery of hard services as a way of improving the service delivery at the point of need, achieve Cost savings, improved efficiency and effectiveness, have access to technology and maintain a lean and agile operating model.

As part of the requirement was the creation of a comprehensive asset register and establishing their conditions culminated into a creating 10-year costed asset replacement programme.

Our solution

Olive Arabia conducted an asset condition survey for over 20,000 assets the result of which is the creation of a comprehensive register and their conditions along with bar coding and uploading them with their unique ID number of the CAFM software.

The challenge was to provide a unified service across the Kingdom some of which are in remote locations. Through collaboration with the Client FM Team, we adapted our service delivery to best meet their needs. This has included reacting to the changes in their workspaces by reducing or increasing engineering teams to suit fluctuations in demand. We provided a customer led dynamic service delivery across the country, regardless of the town or city in which the building is located. This reflects our partnership approach, which optimises service delivery and minimises disruption for the users.

Another benefit of this collaboration has been upskilling our onsite team to increase our ability to meet reactive requirements – This has reduced reliance on subcontractors, delivered cost savings, and allowed greater quality control for the Client. Similarly, we introduced dedicated fabric technicians into our delivery model, rather than using mobile or supply chain operatives – another example of improved efficiency.

By working in collaboration with the Client, we implemented several cost and time saving efficiencies across the contract. This has resulted in us being awarded service delivery for a new distribution depot.

Additionally, we were able to set out areas for the Client to reduce and better manage energy consumption. The client supported Olive Arabia by replacing outdated light fittings with LEDs. This saves money and maintains the high-quality appearance of the sites.
