Our clients’ needs, and the World itself, are changing rapidly
We’re increasingly responding to these new demands through innovation. We work with our clients to introduce new technologies into their buildings, both as new installations and retrofit replacements and upgrades for existing equipment. In particular, we’re supporting our clients, and the countries in which we work, to adopt systems, policies and practices that make their buildings and operations more sustainable, especially in areas such as water, energy and other resource management.
The power of data
The advance of technology means buildings themselves are developing into much more complex and integrated ecosystems, in which numerous different functions are both linked and interdependent. As facility managers, we’re now treating buildings more like ecosystems than structures, and relying every more heavily on innovative software to help us manage them. We were early adopters of computer-aided facility management (CAFM) and have now implemented a world-class integrated workplace management system (IWMS) platform, which is a key element of our service offering and critical for the delivery of best-in-class facility management services. By consolidating real-time data from sources across individual assets and multiple sites, it gives our facility managers and service teams an instant, accurate, 360-degree view; it also provides data for predictive and planned maintenance, enabling us to minimise downtime and disruption for users.

Addressing present and future challenges
These changes in facility management and our clients’ needs are driven by the fact that the world itself is changing, too. As facility managers, we’re already seeing the impact of climate change on our clients’ assets and activities. Innovative technologies can help to mitigate these impacts, and assets against emerging and potential challenges.
